Some More Photo Stuff

Photoshoot went well. Smoke. Ladders and Long-held poses. At the end I took a couple of pictures of people whose costumes we hadn't really worked on; they weren't here yesterday. Mikey, Rhiannon and Laura - and Leah's full 'Geisha' make up. In fact the pictures show her in her 'distressed' make-up, after the shoot. I was madly rubbing it off with my fingers. I actually think something like this would be great for Mrs Mi Tzu.... a kind of ruined face. Maybe once she was someone... a lady even .... but she's fallen on hard times...

We liked Mikey's Benny Hill style outfit and, though he had a hammer for the shoot, we think the character might benefit from a mallet. Can you see the pencil tucked behind his ear? We liked that touch.

Laura was scary. Apart from the fact she had her eyelashes sticking through the eye-hole of the mask, we felt spooked most of the time. Some of us even wanted to cut her eyelashes off. But when Shui Ta comes in in the second scene, you can see how scary it could appear to the scroungers as they wake from sleep.
